Welcome to Fenya’s litter – Nordic Legends (2026) 🤎🖤

Names with history – a red thread through generations 🐾
At Nordic Zwergpinschers, names are not just labels – they are stories, identities, and a legacy carried forward through generations 💫
The foundation begins with our females:
✨ Frida – a name rooted in the Old Norse fríðr, meaning beautiful, beloved, and peaceful. It carries a sense of calm strength and dignity, reflecting her role as the senior of the pack.
✨ Fenya – inspired by Fenja from Norse mythology. Fenja was a giantess known for her immense strength and her ability to shape fate and prosperity – a symbol of power, endurance, and primal force.
These names form the foundation of our kennel – a deep appreciation for the Nordic universe, where strength, destiny, and character are closely intertwined.
This red thread continues into the next generation.

Our two puppies are now officially registered with the Danish Kennel Club (DKK) with approved pedigrees, and we proudly present:
💛 Henri Løvehjerte von Hermann
❤️ Ronja Brunhilda von Hermann
Their names carry forward both heritage and meaning. Inspired by Astrid Lindgren's literary universe, they reflect themes of courage, freedom, and warmth of heart, with a direct reference to The Brothers Lionheart.
Ronja Brunhilda embodies a balance between the free and the powerful.
Ronja reflects a fearless and independent spirit, closely connected to nature, while Brunhilda – derived from Brynhildr – adds a deeper mythological dimension. As a Valkyrie, Brynhildr symbolizes strength, honour, and fate, bringing both femininity and inner resilience into the name.
Henri Løvehjerte carries a more personal and historical depth.
He is named after my great-great-grandfather, creating a strong familial connection. At the same time, "Løvehjerte" (Lionheart) links both to Lindgren's The Brothers Lionheart and to Richard the Lionheart – a historic symbol of courage and leadership, who also appears as a character in Ivanhoe.
The name "von Hermann" is my surname and a deliberate choice, reflecting the German origin of the breed and tying together kennel, heritage, and identity.🖤💛❤️
Henri is developing into a strong and well-balanced male with clear, well-defined black & tan markings and a calm, stable temperament.
Ronja is a feminine and elegant female with a warm brown coat, fine lines, and a soft yet expressive presence.
Both puppies are thriving and developing beautifully.
This morning, Henri weighed 458 g and Ronja 427 g, reflecting steady and healthy growth. Their personalities are already beginning to emerge, and we look forward to following how both their names and their characters unfold in the weeks to come.
Thank you for following our journey 🖤🤎
